DDA Launches ‘Karmayogi Housing Scheme’ for Government Employees, Registration from Dec 19 with Up to 25% Discount


New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the Karmayogi Housing Scheme-2025 exclusively for government employees. The brochure for the scheme will be released on December 19, and registrations for flats will start the same day. Under this scheme, 1,169 new flats are available across one BHK, two BHK, and three BHK configurations, with government employees eligible for up to 25% discount.

The scheme is open to employees of the Central and State governments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), public sector banks, local bodies, autonomous institutions, and universities.

Location and Prices
All flats are located in Narela, spread across pockets A1 to A4 and Pocket-9.

  • 1 BHK: 320 flats priced between ₹45.37 lakh and ₹45.71 lakh; after discount, prices range from ₹34.03 lakh to ₹34.28 lakh.
  • 2 BHK: 576 flats priced between ₹1.06 crore and ₹1.17 crore; post-discount, prices range from ₹79.81 lakh to ₹88.16 lakh.
  • 3 BHK: 272 flats priced between ₹1.52 crore and ₹1.69 crore; after discount, prices range from ₹1.14 crore to ₹1.27 crore.

Important Dates

  • Registration begins: 19 December 2025
  • Booking starts: 14 January 2026
  • Scheme closes: 31 March 2026

Objective of the Scheme
The scheme aims to provide government and PSU employees with housing in the same area, allowing them to live close to colleagues and neighbors. According to an official, while DDA has previously offered discounted flats to government employees, this is the first time certain pockets are reserved exclusively for them.

Steps to Boost Sales
To facilitate sales in Narela, DDA is implementing several measures:

  • Expanding DTC bus routes
  • Constructing Urban Extension Road-II
  • Allowing flat merging for larger units
  • Offering allotment on a first-come, first-served basis
    Additionally, land has been allocated for police infrastructure, a hospital, a DTC terminal, and an education hub to enhance the locality’s facilities.
