Brazen Theft in Kota: Thief Uses Plastic Bag Over Head to Steal ₹50–60k, CCTV Captures Daring Act


Kota, Rajasthan: In a bizarre and audacious theft in Kota’s Kansua area, a clever thief managed to escape both the police and CCTV surveillance by using an unusual disguise. Around 2:30 AM on 15 December, a thief broke into a milk dairy in the DCM area and made off with cash worth ₹50,000–₹60,000. The entire act was recorded on CCTV, but the thief’s face remained hidden.

Thief Covers Head with Plastic Bag
According to reports, the thief entered the shop through the roof. Immediately upon entering, he covered his head with a plastic bag, ensuring that his identity was obscured from the CCTV camera. He then proceeded calmly to the counter and emptied the cash stored in the drawer.

₹50–60 Thousand Cash Stolen
The thief took his time and carefully removed the cash from the counter, with no one nearby to stop or challenge him. The methodical approach and clever disguise highlight the daring nature of the theft.

Morning Discovery Sparks Police Investigation
The dairy owner discovered the theft upon opening the shop the next morning, finding the cash completely missing. The incident was reported to the Udyog Nagar Police Station, which has launched an investigation based on the CCTV footage. While the thief’s identity remains unknown, police are pursuing other leads to track down the culprit.
