

Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh: Panic erupted late Sunday night in Chandauli district when a massive explosion tore through a three-story house inhabited by transgender individuals in the Moharganj area under Baluwa police jurisdiction. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the blast caused significant structural damage.
Blast Shakes Entire Neighborhood
According to local reports, the explosion occurred while all residents were asleep. The shockwave was so powerful that parts of the house’s walls collapsed, leaving the building heavily damaged. The loud blast was heard from a considerable distance, alarming neighbors and creating chaos in the vicinity.
Residents Escape Unharmed
All occupants, thankfully, escaped unharmed. The sudden explosion startled everyone inside, causing a frenzied evacuation. Local residents rushed to the scene after hearing the deafening sound, heightening the sense of fear in the neighborhood.
Police and Forensic Teams Investigate
Baluwa police, along with a forensic team, arrived promptly at the scene and conducted a thorough inspection. Despite extensive investigations, the exact cause of the explosion remains unclear.
Possible Old Rivalry
Preliminary reports suggest that the incident may be linked to an old rivalry. The transgender residents filed a formal complaint naming four to five individuals as suspects. Police are currently investigating whether the explosion was a premeditated act.
Official Statement
CO Sakaldiha stated that forensic teams found some electrical wires at the site, though the precise reason for the blast is yet to be determined. A case has been registered based on the formal complaint, and further investigation is ongoing.
