Sanwer Assembly Constituency to Receive 25 New Anganwadi Buildings Worth ₹2.80 Crore

A major boost for women and child welfare is on the way for Sanwer Assembly constituency, as 25 new Anganwadi buildings worth ₹2 crore 80 lakh 50 thousand have been approved for construction across various gram panchayats in the region.

Women and Child Development Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria will perform the bhoomipujan (foundation stone laying ceremony) for these new Anganwadi centres. She will visit Sanwer on Monday, November 3, at 11:15 AM, where she will also attend a Women’s Conference organized at the Ankit Campus and participate in the foundation ceremony.

Water Resources Minister and local MLA Mr. Tulsiram Silawat informed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government has sanctioned this amount to construct modern and well-equipped Anganwadi centres in 25 gram panchayats. Each building will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹11.22 lakh.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Minister Silawat said, “These new buildings will play a vital role in implementing government schemes related to nutrition, health, and early childhood education for women and children in rural areas.”

The gram panchayats where the Anganwadi centres have been sanctioned include Mangliya Road, Barodiya Khan, Jaitpura, Hindoliya, Bawliya Khedi, Baroli, Kachhalia, Balaria, Ringnodiya, Samrol, Khamod Anjana, Kajlana, Katkya, Rajoda, Arjun Baroda, Pipalya Kayasth, Khatedia Bazzat, Basandra, Muradpura, Mundla Hussain, Asrawad Buzurg, Alwasa, Kadatwa, and Solsinda.

Currently, most of these Anganwadis are operating from rented or panchayat buildings. The construction of dedicated centres will ensure that mothers, pregnant women, and infants in these areas can access better nutrition, healthcare, and government services in a more comfortable and accessible environment.
